Over the weekend of April 18th–20th, SKIP hosted a successful 48-hour in-person game jam at Alfons in Building Patricia, Lindholmen. The hackathon challenged participants to design and build a game from scratch within a tight two-day window, starting on Friday evening and wrapping up on Sunday evening.
Designed to be inclusive, we welcomed creators of all skill levels - from seasoned developers to complete beginners - working individually or in teams of up to five people.
Theme, Rules & Winners
The theme of the jam was “Easter Eggs”. Participants were encouraged to interpret the theme as broadly and creatively as possible, resulting in a diverse range of submitted projects across various genres.
The submission guidelines allowed for high flexibility in development tools, requiring only that digital games be delivered as an easily testable executable or application file by the deadline on Sunday. Demonstrating the event’s broad scope, tabletop and physical game submissions were also permitted via uploaded rulebooks and component photos.
The event concluded on Sunday evening following a dedicated presentation and judging periods - teams were required to have at least one representative present to pitch and showcase their work to the panel.
The winners of the Easter Game Jam 2025 are:
-
1st Place: Easter Eggventures
-
2nd Place (Tie): Shotgunny & Eggventure
-
3rd Place: Buns and Guns
Thank you for participating and game jamming with us!
